The executive board oversees all of RHA’s activities both within the Senate and the hall/area councils, acting as mentors to other RHA members. The executive board is comprised of eight members, each of whom retains voting rights in the RHA Senate.

  • President: serves as the face of the organization, oversees the efforts of the executive board; voices the needs, concerns, and suggestions of on-campus students to university officials
  • Vice President: serves as chairperson of Senate meetings, oversees logistical efforts of any standing Senate committee

The President and Vice President are elected by the RHA Senate and appoint the following six positions:

  • Chief Information Officer: acts as the RHA webmaster, facilitates the Hall/Area Council of the Semester (HOTS) competition, serves as RHA’s historian
  • Student Groups and Organizations Liaison: promotes collaboration and communication between RHA, SGA, GSG, campus advisory boards and committees, and other student groups
  • Public Relations and Outreach Officer: facilitates RHA’s relations with both print and non-print media, reaches out to constituents, coordinates RHA recruitment and retention
  • Finance and Philanthropy Officer: serves as the record keeper for all RHA accounts, expenditures, and balances; heads RHA philanthropic initiatives
  • National Communications Coordinator:  serves as a liaison to the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), and the Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (CAACURH)
  • Administrative Officer: maintains detailed records and attendance of RHA meetings, resolutions, and members; manages the RHA office, handles booking for RHA events and meetings
